The transport of dangerous goods is subject to the International Convention on the Carriage of Dangerous Goods by Road – known as the ADR Convention.

The nature of dangerous goods requires compliance with well-defined conditions regarding the manner of their packaging, labeling, loading / unloading and transportation.
